Tasmania Reads Week

Metro is pleased to be supporting Libraries Tasmania for Tasmania Reads Week 2024!

Tasmania Reads week is an annual week-long celebration of reading, with Libraries Tasmania hosting and promoting events related to all kinds of reading.

This year’s theme is about trying something new. In the interest of promoting new reads, Metro has established Book Exchanges for our team in all three of our depots where team members can swap a book they’ve read and find something new to try.

We also have posters up in our buses promoting the variety of services offered by Libraries Tasmania. Buses are the perfect place to read on the go and we hope our customers will be inspired to join in the fun this week.
