Metro Contractor Induction

If your contracted business has not yet registered as a Contractor with Metro Tasmania, please have the authorised contract manager complete the Contractor Registration Form.

This Contractor Induction Form is required for all individual contractors attending a Metro site to undertake work for a registered contractor business. All contracted employees must review the relevant documentation and complete this form before they can begin work on a Metro site.

As a contractor to our site, we regard you as a professional person in your trade/area of expertise. As such, you have responsibilities for your own safety and the safety of your co-workers and others that your work activities may impact upon. All work must be conducted in a safe, health and environmentally responsible manner and comply with all legal/regulatory requirement i.e. Work Health and Safety Act 2012, WHS Regulations 2022 and the appropriate codes of practice from www.safeworkaustralia.gov.au relating to the work must be followed where reasonable and practical to do so. All contractors are responsible for ensuring they, and all persons working for or contracted to them, have completed this site induction and have read and understood the requirements detailed below. This must be done prior to commencing work.
Metro's Contractor Safety Documentation
All Metro contractors must review the Contractor Safety Documentation before beginning work at a Metro site. By signing this form, you agree that you have reviewed and understood the following contractor safety information:

I will comply with any reasonable direction from your site representative. You might be asked to leave the site if any of the Metro's safety requirements are not complied with. Please ask the site representative if you have any doubts.
