Metro Tasmania Pty Ltd is a state owned company established in 1998 operating bus services in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie.

Our vision is to be an attractive travel option which contributes to an integrated public transport network in Tasmania.

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Operational Advisor to join Metro Tasmania to support our current Customer Services Department in Hobart.
Reporting to the State Customer Services Manager the Senior Operational Advisor will provide administrative support and advice to the State Customer Service Manager as well as the whole Customer Services Department.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support and assistance with events/ projects as directed by the State Customer Services Manager
  • Coordination of meetings and documentation of minutes, filling and other office related tasks.
  • Analyse and interpret data/systems/KPI’s – report findings and make recommendations for improvements to the State Customer Services Manager
  • Provide advice to other employees on compliance requirements on day to day functions including polies and procedures.
  • Assist with the strategic planning for projects and monitor resource requirements.
  • Provide day to day support and advice to the broader Customer Services Team

To be successful in this role you would have a Certificate IV in Business (or equivalent) along with strong computer skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
