Program Manager – Drive Strategic Transformation at Metro Tasmania

Metro Tasmania is seeking an experienced and visionary Program Manager to drive the execution of our ICT Strategic Plan. What you’ll do: As the Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the strategic program of work at Metro Tasmania. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of programs within defined timelines, budget, and scope. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the execution and monitoring of the strategic program of work and manage the Project Management Office.
- Manage the development and implementation of project plans, policies, processes and practices to support the implementation of projects of strategic importance.
- Lead the process and work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams and assigned project resources to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget and timing for new initiatives.
- Lead the planning, resourcing and delivery of digital and technology services and solutions to support the organisation’s objectives, including those identified in the ICT Strategic Plan.
- Lead and manage the Projects team to meet the organisation’s objectives.
- Execute a change management strategy that ensures the benefits of deploying new technology, products and services are fully recognised through the organisation.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the program of work, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful delivery, and provide regular updates, recommendations and advice to senior management.
