As we continue through the Back To School season for 2023, we know that it can be a busy and, at times, challenging period for our customers.
While we do our best to keep our communities moving, we do anticipate that Metro will have some service disruptions in the form of trip cancellations in the coming weeks. And as such, we want to ensure that we keep our customers up-to-date with any service changes to minimize their impacts and allow time to make alternative travel arrangements.
All scheduled school services and General Access Weekday services that link to school services will be prioritised so as not to be affected.
While we prioritize new driver training, from 7 February 2023, Metro will be posting any Trip Cancelations ahead of time to our Network Updates page on the Metro Tasmania Website and Metro App. Updates will go live at 4pm AEDT Sunday through Thursday with cancelation information for the following day’s General Access Weekday Services.
