Metro’s current free Greencard promotion will conclude on Monday 31 August. From 1 September, the $5 sign-up fee for Greencard will be re-instated.
Since free Greencard were offered on 26 March, over 5000 more Tasmanians have started using Greencard to pay for their travel, taking advantage of the 20% discount on all fares, free 90 minute transfer and capped urban fares.
A Greencard is a smart card that stores fare credit, meaning you can tap and go rather than use cash for your fare. 85% of customers use a Greencard for their travel. To learn more about Greencard, click here.
