Do you have a mobility aid and are new to buses? We invite you to come and practice getting on and off a bus with a wheelchair, pram, or other mobility aid in a friendly and unhurried setting. You can try it at your own pace without any passengers on board, and ask Metro representatives any accessibility questions you have.
This is a public event with limited places available, hosted by Metro and the City of Hobart.
When: Tuesday 20 March 2018, 10.30 am to 12 noon
Where: Outside the Metro Shop in the Elizabeth Street Bus Mall, Hobart
Cost: Free however bookings are required

This trial day is open to participants with mobility aids with a maximum loaded weight of 300kg. Metro buses are not suitable for wheelchairs with three wheels.
