Our bus drivers are at the heart of our journey to connect communities and enhance the public transport experience across our networks. If you’re passionate about customer service and like the idea of an ever-changing office view, we want you to join our driver team.

As a Metro bus driver, you’ll enjoy rewarding interactions with customers from all walks of life, contributing to the vibrancy of the communities we serve in  Burnie, Hobart and Launceston.

As a Metro bus driver, you receive:

• A competitive salary of between $70,410 – $94,000 per year (plus Super) for full-time drivers, well above the national award
• 8 weeks of paid leave for full-time drivers (5 weeks annual, 3 weeks accrued days)
