From Thursday, 6 February 2025 (Term 1), there will be minor changes to some Metro school bus services for Taroona High School, St Virgil’s College, South Hobart Primary School and Waimea Heights Primary School.
Changes are to increase capacity on Taroona High School services to South Hobart and improve the service to St Virgil’s.
Taroona High School changes will impact students traveling to South Hobart. Students will need to catch the following services to their listed destinations.
- Metro 288:For South Hobart Primary School, Huon Road, and Fern Tree.
- Metro 258: For Churchill Avenue, Dynnyrne, Huon Road, and Fern Tree.
- Metro 256: For Strickland Avenue
Buses departing from South Hobart Primary School have no route changes, some buses may now have students already aboard.
Waimea Heights Primary School Students will need to catch the following services to Strickland Avenue.
- Metro 258 to South Hobart Primary School, then transfer to the Metro 270.
St Virgil’s College changes will impact students traveling from Lauderdale:
- Metro 361AM bus from Lauderdale will now leave 10 minutes earlier.
