HOBART: Cadbury Marathon (11 January 2025)

The annual Cadbury Marathon will be taking place on Saturday 11 January 2025, from 6:00am until approximately 12:00pm. Deviations will be in place. Delays across the Hobart network can be expected throughout the entire day.

Route 510, 511, 512, 520, 522 and 530 will be affected during this event.

The following bus stops will be closed:

・Stop 52 Cadbury Road – Inbound & Outbound

・Stop 53 Cadbury Road – Outbound

・Stop 54 Cadbury Road

・Stop 55, No. 49 Bourneville Cres

・Cadbury Estate Stop

・Stop 50 Cadbury Road – Inbound

・Stop 48 Cadbury Road – Inbound

・No. 731 Main Road

・Main Road (Windermere PS) Inbound

・Stop 36 Main Road Claremont (Opp Claremont Fire Station) – Inbound

・Main Road / Alcorso Bus stop – Inbound

・Mona (Main Road Stop 33) – Inbound

・Stop 32 Main Road Berriedale – Inbound

There will be a temporary bus stop on Claremont Link Road, in the shelter near Claremont College.

Route 510, 520 and 522 buses to Hobart will continue as normal to Claremont Stop #37 inbound, then will continue via Claremont Link Road onto the Brooker Highway. Services will exit the Brooker Highway at Berriedale Road exit, then turn left onto Main Road, before continuing their route to Hobart as usual.
Outbound trips from Hobart will not be affected.

Route 511 buses to Hobart will commence in Bilton Street, then travel via Main Road, Claremont Link Road, left into Myella Drive, right into Maroni Road then continue as usual.
Outbound trips from Hobart will not be affected.

Route 512 buses to Hobart will commence in Bilton Street, then travel via Main Road, Claremont Link Road, left into Myella Drive, right into Maroni Road then continue as usual.

Route 512 buses from Hobart will travel via Cadbury Road then turn left onto Bilton Street to terminate at Stop 51 on Bilton Street.

Route 530 buses to Cove Hill will travel as usual via Elwick Road, then turn right onto the Brooker Highway, left onto the Domain Highway, and travel onto the Tasman Bridge. Services will continue via the East Derwent Highway and slip lane under the Bowen Bridge to Old Beach. Please note that due to the detour Route 530 services will need to make, there may be significant delays to these services.
