Effective from Wednesday 24 July 2024, all evening Route 530, X30 and 696 services will resume normal operation.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as Metro has adjusted Gagebrook/Herdsmans Cove services to prioritise the safety of our team. As the incidents of rock throwing in this area have reduced in recent weeks, Metro will begin a staged reintroduction of evening services to these suburbs.
During the first stage of reintroduction, later evening Route 522 services will continue to terminate at and commence from Cove Hill Fair.
The later evening services will proceed as follows:
Monday to Friday
・The Route 522 services departing Hobart City for Gagebrook via Bridgewater at 8:10pm, 9:10pm, 10:10pm, 11.10pm (Monday to Thursday) and 12:10am (Friday) will instead follow the normal route to Cove Hill Fair, then terminate. They will not continue to Herdsmans Cove and Gagebrook.
・The Route 522 services scheduled to depart Gagebrook at 8.44pm, 9.43pm (Monday to Thursday) and 10.43pm (Friday) will instead commence from Cove Hill Fair at 8.58pm, 9.58pm (Monday to Thursday) and 10.58pm (Friday).
Saturday
・The Route 522 services departing Hobart City for Gagebrook via Bridgewater at 8:10pm, 9:10pm, 10:10pm, 11:10pm and 12:10am will instead follow the normal route to Cove Hill Fair, then terminate. They will not continue to Herdsmans Cove and Gagebrook.
・The Route 522 services scheduled to depart Gagebrook at 8:37pm, 9:37pm and 10:37pm will instead commence from Cove Hill Fair at 8:54pm, 9:54pm and 10:54pm.
Sunday & Public Holidays
・The Route 522 services departing Hobart City for Gagebrook via Bridgewater at 8:10pm and 9:10pm will instead follow the normal route to Cove Hill Fair, then terminate. They will not continue to Herdsmans Cove and Gagebrook.
・Services to/from Gagebrook that are not listed below will operate as normal.
